What comes to mind is how does this apply to someone who is nonverbal. I am not saying that my son has no potential and I would like him to contribute to his household where he is able & maximize his abilities but he will always need 24 hr. support for safety & so many other reasons. As well, he has access to so little financial resources. Even the RDSP is set-up so that he cannot withdraw without penalty until he is 59, 20 yrs.+. Quality of life needs to be now.
